Nordic PropTech Awards and MIPIM launch a new collaboration
The new cross-Nordic initiative 'Nordic PropTech Awards' has partnered with the world's leading real estate conference MIPIM. The collaboration will put Nordic innovation in property on the international agenda.
Nordic PropTech Awards x MIPIM
Nordic PropTech Awards is a new Nordic program for recognizing and accelerating Nordic proptech startups and scaleups. The award has been jointly launched by the Nordic PropTech organisations; PropTech Denmark, PropTech Norway, Proptech Sweden, and PropTech Finland.
Now the initiative has been joined by the renowned real estate conference MIPIM to jointly spread awareness of the innovative solutions that currently occupy the industry, especially in the Nordic region.

By joining forces in the sourcing and promotion of the Nordic proptech startups, we want to grant them the best chances to develop meaningful solutions to the real estate industry, thanks to an extensive local and international network of professionals" - Nicolas Kozubek, Director of Propel by MIPIM, MIPIM's tech initiative.
Nordic innovation on the agenda
The collaboration will put innovation in property on the agenda by actually showcasing new solutions for the industry. It should create value for both the individual startup and the industry in general by creating greater deal flow, more collaborations across the value chain and national borders, as well as new risk investments into innovation.
There is a strong need for the nordic values on which technology companies are built; notably ethically, respectfully and with inclusion," says Nadim Stub, former CEO of PropTech Denmark, and continues, "we are looking forward to this strategic collaboration to showcase these exciting Nordic startups on a platform like MIPIM. Their Propel initiative has matured within innovation and tech in recent years, and we welcome their growing focus on innovation in social and environmental sustainability, improved resident experiences, and their advocacy of greater digitisation. The Nordics are trailblazing in all of these areas, and we are elated to join forces with MIPIM in our efforts to propel their endeavors out on the global scene".
The winning startups will gain the opportunity to showcase their business to the prestigious MIPIM 2022 in Cannes and be honored by the Nordic proptech ecosystem in Copenhagen during PropTech Denmark's big annual proptech event before then.
Nordic PropTech Awards
The Nordic PropTech Awards is a new initiative launched across the Nordic proptech organizations in order to highlight and recognize the current best Nordic proptech solutions. Awards are granted within five tracks: Sustainable & Healthy Buildings, Space-as-a-service, Real Estate FinTech, ConTech, and Property Management. The winners will be announced in Copenhagen during PropTech Denmark's annual proptech event in Q1 2022.
Propel by MIPIM
Propel by MIPIM gathers key real estate decision-makers from all sectors to connect with the most innovative startups and technology companies. During MIPIM 2022 (March 15-18, Cannes, France), Propel will lead the discussions about innovation in the built environment. With the dedicated innovation zone Propel Station, Propel will explore the most innovative solutions and practices designed to increase the value of property assets and will feature a dedicated programme of conference sessions and case studies. The winners of the Nordic PropTech Awards will gain the opportunity to showcase themselves at the annual MIPIM 2022 conference in Cannes.
